Strategy - Overview

Avon Capital has established and is the Investment Manager to the Avon Fund, a Luxembourg-based and CSSF-regulated institutional life settlement Fund.

Avon Capital began managing life settlement assets for institutional clients back in 2006 and has managed two dedicated Funds, each with approximately USD500 million in Face Value, together representing in excess of USD250 million of investment.

The Avon Fund currently comprises two Sub-Funds, the USD Sub-Fund I and USD Sub-Fund II, each with customisable classes of units available to institutional clients and/or with respect to specific life settlement-backed investment product requirements.

Avon Capital is now seeking institutional investment into these Sub-Funds, either by way of direct investment into a customisable class of units, or via its Avon Fund-backed institutional bond product.

Life settlements’ unique feature of minimal correlation to equity and bond markets makes this an ideal asset class for institutional investors to obtain further diversification in their investment portfolios. Avon’s business model is to develop a range of institutional investment opportunities utilising life settlements as the underlying, tailored to the specific risk-return requirements of the institutional investor.
